I specialize in personal injury and workers compensation.  These constitute 90% of my practice.  I am Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.  I spent nearly the first ten years of my career doing defense work representing insurance companies.  Although I have been in my own practice now for twenty three years representing injured clients, I believe the knowledge I gained from representing insurance companies years ago gives me a feel on how to best present cases and prepare them for trial. This affords me the opportunity to maximize results in Court, as well as to enhance the opportunity for better settlements.  I have handled cases ranging from minor to a million dollars. Every case is handled with attention and care.  Phone calls are promptly returned and all clients are treated with respect and courtesy.  All questions are answered and you will never feel left in the dark or ignored.

While I typically represent clients in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, I have represented clients in many other counties from Bergen, all the way down the Parkway to Atlantic City. As a sole practitioner, I will always be the attorney who handles your case. From simple questions you may have, to depositions, to arbitration, trial, and all Court appearances, I will be the ONLY attorney with whom you shall deal.

In personal injury cases, there is no fee earned unless a recovery is obtained.  The standard retainer agreement is for a third of the net recovery.  My firm will cover all expenses, which will be reimbursed out of the proceeds once the case resolves.

In workers compensation, the fee is awarded by the Court and is generally 20% of the recovery; note that the employer typically pays 60% of that 20% counsel fee.

I do handle select general litigation commercial matters.  I represent several local builders, and have represented other commercial clients in the past, including Saleen Automotive in Litigation in Ocean County.

Finally, a small but important part of my practice, is representing homeowners seeking variances and Zoning approvals in the following four Monmouth County locations:  Allenhurst, Deal, Loch Arbour, and Ocean Township. I limit this portion of my practice to these four shore towns. When handling Zoning matters, it is extremely important to be familiar with the Boards and staff in the towns you seek to represent clients.  My familiarity with these four boards enables me to advise clients so they will have a feel for what the Board will typically allow, as well as what is necessary so as to expedite and make the process easier to handle and less costly to the client. Charges entailed for this work are extremely case sensitive.
